How to make frozen banana fudge pops

  • Bananas: Small-ish bananas work best on the popsicle stick.
  • Dark chocolate: Chips, chunks, a bar, whatever you have to melt.
  • Toppings: Shredded coconut, chopped nuts, crushed pretzels, chopped mini marshmallows, chopped dried fruit, sea salt, drizzled caramel, melted peanut butter, sprinkles, and the list goes on.
  • Popsicle sticks: Don’t forget ’em!

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Skewer the bananas using a wooden kebab skewer, leaving enough sticking out to use as a handle.
  2. Place a large piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
  3. Place the dark chocolate chips in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the chocolate in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until melted.
  4. Dip the bananas into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to evenly coat the bananas. Place the banana on parchment paper.
  5. Immediately sprinkle the banana with the toppings of your choice.
  6. Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is set.

Storage Tips

  • Once the chocolate is hard, transfer the bananas to an airtight container.
  • Store in the freezer.
  • For optimal flavor, serve bananas within 2 weeks.
