Frozen bananas are coated in dark chocolate and sprinkled with your favorite toppings.

  • 8 small bananas, peeled
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate
  • Toppings: Sprinkles, coconut, salted nuts, pretzels, mini marshmallows, chopped fruit, sea salt, caramel, melted peanut butter, etc.


  1. Skewer the bananas using a wooden kebab skewer, leaving enough sticking out to use as a handle.
  2. Place a large piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
  3. Place the dark chocolate chips in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the chocolate in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until melted.
  4. Dip the bananas into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to evenly coat the bananas. Place the banana on parchment paper.
  5. Immediately sprinkle the banana with the toppings of your choice.
  6. Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is set.


Storage Tip: Once the chocolate is hard, transfer the bananas to an airtight container. Store in the freezer. For optimal flavor, serve bananas within 2 weeks.
